Switchgear

Transformers

Our transformer services cover every stage, from installation and commissioning, to refurbishment and long-term maintenance. We use advanced diagnostic and testing procedures to ensure reliable performance and early fault detection. HVP offers complete on site servicing of transformers including bushing replacement, temperature indicator calibration, gas injection of Bucholz relays, oil sampling, pressurising of nitrogen charged transformers, insulation resistance tests, ratio tests, and winding resistance tests. During a transformer service we are also able to repair rust spots, clean, and repaint.
SF₆ & Oil Handling
PURIFICATION · RETRIEVAL · DISPOSAL
We offer safe and compliant SF₆ and oil handling services, including recovery, purification, recycling, and disposal. We utilise specialised equipment such as SF₆ Enervac and two types of transformer oil filtering machines - a paper filter press machine for filtering carbonised oil, and a vacuum degassing oil filter machine using non-hygroscopic filter bobbins. These allow us to minimise environmental impact while maintaining the efficiency and integrity of high voltage systems.
